Eleanor Marsden

BA (Hons), MA, MCIoF(Dip) | Trustee
Eleanor joined HART as a trustee in 2019. An experienced charity professional, she has worked for 15 years in the not-for-profit sector leading fundraising, communications and strategy. With a life-long passion for protecting nature and the environment, she was previously a trustee for an ecology charity and is passionate about protecting native species, particularly British mammals.

Karen Margesson

Karen joined the HART team of volunteers in 2009 when the hospital was still situated in the garden of our founders. A year later, whilst continuing to volunteer at the hospital after its relocation to Soldridge, she also took on the role of charity secretary – a post that she filled for the next 7 years. In 2013 she was both surprised and delighted to be asked if she would also become a trustee and had no hesitation in accepting the invitation.

Annie Blacklock

MAAT | Trustee
Annie's love of helping wildlife began when she was a child, helping her mother to rescue injured wildlife. She started volunteering at the Hospital in 2014 and was thrilled to join the board in 2017.
